king khan refuses to work with big B

Amitabh refuses to do film for Farah because of Amitabh

Shah Rukh Khan is all but ready to work with director Farah Khan for a third time, after super hit Main Hoon Na and last year’s stupendous blockbuster Om Shanti Om… however there is a little hitch… and that hitch is Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.

Farah, who delivered triplets earlier this year, now wants to restart production on Happy New Year, the film that she was supposed to make in place of Om Shanti Om. At that time, the film’s pivotal character was to be portrayed by Amitabh Bachcha, however he fell ill and the film was shelved. In its place Farah and Shah Rukh started working on Om Shanti Om.

Farah wants to start shooting for the film from middle of next year but the problem is the cold war between Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. The film’s main stars are both of them but the two haven’t been getting on well with each other recently. Hence, the hitch! Just like fellow director Karan Johar, Farah Khan is not willing to work for a film that doesn’t include Shah Rukh Khan, and Shah Rukh has said that he can’t share screen space on a large scale with Big B. One can recall that Shah Rukh and Amitabh did star in this year’s dud Bhoothnath, but the two hardly shared any joint scenes.

manoj kumar takes srk to court

The tussle between 70's superstar Manoj Kumar and SRK- Farah Khan doesn't seem to have ended.

After months of keeping quiet on the whole controversy surrounding the way he was portrayed in last year's blockbuster Om Shanti Om, veteran actor Manoj Kumar seems to have raised the issue once again.

Manoj Kumar was upset with the way he had been made fun of in OSO and had even asked Shah Rukh and Farah Khan to delete the particular scene in which one of his look-alikes is beaten up by the cops at a movie premiere.

While SRK and Farah had initially assured the veteran actor that they would do the needful, the scene still continued to be in the film.

Now as Om Shanti Om gets all set to be premiered on TV, Manoj Kumar has decided that he has had enough.

Furious by the whole fiasco, Manoj Kumar has reportedly filed a case against Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan in a city civil court asking for deletion of the scene or ordering a stay on the telecast of the film on national television. The matter is expected to come up for hearing today.

"The idea of quitting cropped up during a 17-hour flight," Shah Rukh was quoted as saying. "So if I can do without smoking in flight, I am sure I can do without it on land too."

The Bollywood icon had also reportedly said that he planned to kick the habit for his children's sake.

The interview was conducted at Pollachi in Tamil Nadu where the actor is shooting for Priyadarshan's Billo Barber.

Shah Rukh also revealed that he had started smoking when he was 22.

The star has often been ticked off by Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss for smoking in public as it would set a bad example for youngsters.

ShahRukh and Rajnikant shares same film with differnt tittle

Shah Rukh Khan got shocked when he heard that Superstar Rajnikant's Tamil film 'Kuselan' has been wrapped up and will be releasing in August.

Rajnikant's previous film 'Sivaji' although was a Tamil film managed to get unexpected attention of people from all over India.

So the producers of 'Kuselan' had planned to release the Hindi dubbed version at the same time when the movie hits the cinema halls in south.

'Kuselan' is the remake of the Malyalam hit film 'Katha Parayumbol' so is King Khan's forthcoming film 'Billoo Barber'.

Sharukh wanted to finish off the work of his film fast and get it released as a Diwali movie.

And he was also confident of getting his film first to the theaters.

Upon hearing that the Hindi version of 'Kuselan' will be reaching the theaters much before his film will get exposed, SRK panicked as if this happens the box office prospect of 'Billoo Barber' will get severely damaged due to having the same theme and story.

Adding more intensity to his tension was that in both the films, the lead actors appear in 20 different looks in a single song.

SRK had no other option than to make a call to the South Superstar and request him to change the north Indian release date of 'Kuselan'.

Rajnikant considered Sharukh's request and assured him that his film will get to the halls only after Diwali.

khans with different flavours in ‘ Billo Barber’

s
No, the two hot Khans dont share the same hairstylist. We are talking about upcoming movie produced by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment, which will have Irrfan Khan playing the main protagonist.

SRK is collaborating with ace director Priyadarshan for a comedy flick titled, ‘ Billo Barber’. Unlike all SRK produced movie, Billo Barber will have SRK in a supporting role and Irrfan Khan is the main hero.

The story for Billo Barber is inspired from the legend of Krishna and Sudama. The film is the story about friendship between a rich actor (SRK) and a poor barber (IK). The duos were langotia yaars in their childhood. But later drift apart only to meet again.

An industry insider reveals, ” Billo Barber is a story based on the relationship between Krishan and his childhood friend Sudama. Priyan is adapting this story of friendship between two friends-in a completely new avatar. Here SRK represents Krishna, he plays an actor. On the other hand Irrfan Khan represents Sudama and plays a village barber. The two are friends from school who grow up and drift until they meet again.”

According to rumors, SRK will be romancing three top actresses-Kareena, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

Meanwhile the lady opposite Irrfan Khan is yet to be finalized. Priyan is looking for a energetic actress like Samita Patil for the role. Most probably Ameesha Patel or Tabu will clinch the deal.

Priyadarshan is ecstatic about SRK the actor and SRK the producer.

Well the great fight is over. Now both Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are back to doing what they do best and that is act. So now that the dust has settled, both actors are back at the studios.

SRK is shooting for the Priyadarshan directed Billoo Barber while Salman is busy with Subhash Ghai's Yuvraaj. But while one of them is playing a model actor the other is still being his petulant self. Priyadrashan, it seems, is totally bowled over by SRK's dedication.

The actor, who was otherwise constantly known to be on his cellphone, has apparently, switched off his mobile as he does not want to be disturbed by unwanted calls. Maybe he just wants to avoid any calls talking about the fight. Who knows? But the result is that SRK's behaviour has really impressed Priyadarshan.

The director is bowled over by the actor's dedication and hard work. The actor is not using his cellphone at all on the sets. He joins actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, who too never use their phones when on the set.

Priyadarshan is ecstatic about SRK the actor and SRK the producer. Both have given him a free hand to shoot the film as he pleases. What more could any director want.

Shahrukh on Dus Ka Dum

The Paanchvi Paas anchor King Khan will set Dus Ka Dum on fire as he will play this interesting game with Salman Khan. Salman is a close buddy of Shahrukh and so when he approached him to participate, Shahrukh readily agreed. Dus Ka Dum like any other game show is roping more and more Bollywood stars for TRP purposes.

It has accumulated many accolades for the interesting episodes of Yuvraj and Harbhajan and Aamir Khan too rejuvenated the atmosphere of Dus Ka Dum when he played with his nephew Imran Khan. Salman is also planning to invite Rani and Preity on the show and for that talk is going on with the organizers.

In the month of August, he is hoping to rope in three sizzling stars Rani, Preity and Shahrukh. As Shahrukh has paid respect to Sallu’s call, Salman too is expected to get a call from Shahrukh to play Paanchvi Pass with him and do some effort to higher up the TRP of the show which is an urgent call of the time.

Salman vs Sharukh -big fight on TV

Bollywood's most popular Khans - Shah Rukh and Salman - are battling it out on prime time.Incidentally, both the shows, SRK's Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain and Salman's Dus Ka Dum, are being produced by Siddhartha Basu.

Sidhharth Basu, CMD, Synergy Adlabs, says: "Salman is playful, warm, genuine. SRK always knows what to say, spontaneous, and makes everyone feel comfortable."

Dus Ka Dum has failed to pack in a punch unlike Kya… that garnered high ratings even with a rival like IPL.

Salman and SRK have a tradition of releasing films on the same day - Don & Jaaneman - in which SRK came out tops in terms of collections.

While the stars of the show rope in the initial sponsorships and eyeballs, it is a combination of the format, presentation and involvement of the host that will impact the popularity of the shows.
