Mumbai, Oct 29: While Salman and SRK are busy winning pals and confidantes to their respective sides, Sallu’s babe Katrina Kaif has decided to have the best of both the worlds. The sultry diva seems to have cut out a perfect balance between life and work, ensuring that her emotion does not fiddle with work ethics.
A clear example of this professional-personal life equation was recently witnessed in Dubai, where the sexy seductress bought the house down, grooving with none other than Sallu’s ‘jani-dushmaan’(cut-throat enemy) Shah Rukh Khan.
Even though Sallu rules her heart, Katrina seems to thinking straight from her head when it concerns bagging some big bucks. The actress made sure that she proved her money’s worth as she performed hand in hand with King Khan on his much sought world tour 'Temptations Reloaded' in Dubai.
The gorgeous-twosome gave a rocking performance that left the crowd thirsting for more.
According to sources, the show kick started with the sassy babe grooving on her hit film numbers from ‘Race’ and ‘Singh Is Kinng’. Even though her solo act was much applauded by the audience, it was the SRK and Katrina act that emerged as a clear shows-topper.
The jam-packed show that went on till the wee hours of morning, surely had the crowds going mad as King Khan romanced Sallu’s gal.

kat N salman share d screen in "HELLO"

Katrina Kaif to play an Angel with Salman Khan in Hello
It has been reported that real life lovers Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen together in Atul Agnihotri’s Hello.
And not only that, but Katrina will be playing and Angel. Her character will be seen meeting Salman’s character in an airport lounge where the two discuss a group of employees who work in a call centre. In another scene, towards the very end of the film, Katrina’s ‘Angel’ will be shown gliding away from Salman Khan. Let’s hope she doesn’t do that in real life.
The film, which releases next month, is based on Chetan Bhagat’s much loved novel One Night at the Call Centre.

Now Katrina is counted among kareena and Aiswarya
Katrina Kaif is smiling a lot these days. She has reasons to – five of her consecutive films have been hits, something that even top heroines can't boast of. Namastey London, Apne, Partner, Welcome and Race, all have put her in the bracket of top actresses. It's been six years that Katrina's been around, but the last couple of years have been satisfying to say the least. "I feel grateful. It's wonderful when people want to see your films. It proves that my work is appreciated," she says.
But Katrina Kaif acknowledges that some of her films have not done well also. "I guess you can't predict which film will do well and which won't. If success is in your fate, no one can take it from you," smiles the pretty actress.
The last year has been very good for Katrina. This year too she's been on a roll, having signed a Rs 6-crore deal with Studio 18. A number of other production houses also have been chasing her to sign on the dotted line. We even heard that she's inked a two-film deal with Reliance Big Films and has been paid a whopping sum that leaves rivals Aishwarya Rai and Kareena Kapoor's pay packets behind. "Yes, I have signed a deal with Studio 18 but the films are yet to go on floors. The money is not so important. I have no idea how much Aishwarya and Kareena are paid. But I am happy to be counted among them. I am years junior to them and being compared to them is a high. It does mean a lot to me," smiles the pretty actress. She, however, dismisses rumours of a deal with Reliance Big Films. "There's no point in signing a lot of films and not doing justice to them. I don't want to work just for money. I already have too many films in hand."
Katrina has worked with many of A-list heroes, from Salman Khan to Saif Ali Khan to Akshay Kumar. "I am lucky to have worked with A-listers. The more you work them, the more experience you gain. And I firmly believe that if you work sincerely, you are accepted by people easily." The one person Katrina is looking forward to working with is Hrithik Roshan.
Many of her rivals have tried their hand with parallel cinema. Ash did films like Raincoat, Provoked and Chokher Bali while Kareena experimented with Omkara and Chameli. Does Katrina also want to go for a deglamourised role? "If the script is good I will. But I do think the audiences prefer me in glam roles and I doubt they will accept me in a role without makeup. I won't do such a project just for the heck of it," she replies.
Soon, the lady will be seen with beau Salman Khan in Yuvraj. She's returning with her hit hero Akshay Kumar yet again in Vipul Shah's Singh Is Kinng, taking to three the total number of films she has done with him. "It's a typical 'masala' film. I am also doing a Yash Raj Films project with John Abraham and Neil Mukesh and a Raj Kumar Santoshi film with Ranbir Kapoor, both of which will go on the floors by the end of the year," Katrina elaborates.
That's as far as her work goes. Though she has not admitted to being Salman's off-screen love, Katrina has no qualms admitting she gets along famously with her beau's family. "Salman's mother is a lovely lady. His sisters are also very nice. It's a wonderful family and they care for me a lot. I bond with them very well," she says.
Bonding with their to-be 'bahu'? Maybe later, but for now, Kat's happy being the Bollywood cream.

katrina the new brand ambassador for Gitanjali's
Gitanjali Group chairman Mehul Choksi said: "Katrina is the perfect representation of the young, trendy and fashionable woman that Nakshatra targets. She lends a refreshing look to the brand. We are excited about having her on board as the new face for Nakshatra."
This is the second time this year that Katrina has overtaken Aishwarya in terms of popularity and endorsements. Earlier, Katrina replaced her as the bollywood star with the maximum number of downloads and searches on the Internet.
The Britain-born actress, who was initially written off by critics for her strong stiff upper lip accent, has proved her mettle in Bollywood by delivering five back-to-back hits with "Namastey London", "Apne", "Partner", "Welcome" and "Race".
Her other releases slated for this year are romantic comedy "Singh is Kingg" with Akshay Kumar and musical extravaganza "Yuvraj" with real life beau Salman Khan.
She will also be seen in Rajkumar Santoshi's "Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani" where she teams up with Ranbir Kapoor.

Katrinaforms a Good Jodi with Ranbir

Katrina Kaif may have lost out on Bachna Ae Haseeno due to problems with the script, but it has not harmed her jodi with Ranbir Kapoor. The actress who has been looking for new heroes to star opposite, is believed to have signed two films opposite Ranbir. The duo has already started shooting for the first film, which Raj Kumar Santoshi's Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani. The second film that she is supposed to have signed opposite Ranbir is Prakash Jha's next, which is said to be a political thriller called Rajniti. Jha had gone to the extend of saying that if he had not been able to get Ranbir, he would probably not even dream of doing the film. Rajniti also stars Jha favourite Ajay Devgan and Manoj Bajpai. According to the director, his reasons for signing Katrina were many. Firstly, the actress fitted the bill of a modern, young woman that he is looking for and secondly, she would look very good opposite Ranbir. The film is supposed to be more like a contemporary take on the Mahabharat whith Indian politics forming the backdrop. It has also been heard that Vivek Oberoi was also approached to do one of the roles but it didn't work out. Actor Arjun Rampal has been roped in instead, in his place. Since Jha's films are quite hard hitting and powerful, it will surely be a novel experience for both Katrina and Ranbir, who have only cut their teeth on the run of mill commercial Hindi cinema so far.

Bollywood turnsout for Katrina's Birthday
If Salman Khan personally invites you for a party, there are few who would dare to refuse. Well that's what the actor did for his girlfriend Katrina Kaif's birthday. His entire family was there playing host and the guests were literally the who's who of the industry.
Incidentally Katrina, who turned 24 yesterday, was accompanied by her mom and sister, both of who had flown down from London to be with her. The other two Khans of the industry, Aamir and Shah Rukh were present on the occasion. Also thronging the party were loverbirds Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor of Saawariya fame was also there. But what was surprising was the number of directors who had turned up at the venue. Beginning from Raj Kumar Santoshi, David Dhawan, Kunal Kohli, Anees Bazmee, Prakash Jha, Rohan and Ramesh Sippy, Manmohan Shetty, Nikhil Advani and Karan Johar, among others. The party's turnout just reflected the power that the Khans exert over Bollywood.
